Bad blood.

Months before the rise and fall of #Hiddleswift, Taylor Swift dated a Scottish DJ named Adam “Calvin Harris” Wiles.

Throughout their 15-month relationship things essentially seemed perfect, which made it even more shocking when the two parted ways. Following the breakup, Harris and Swift appeared amicable, with a People source even reporting there “was no drama” between them. Oh how wrong we all were.

In the new issue of British GQ, Harris, the October cover star, opens up about his former relationship and the moment things soured with Swift.

“It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly,” Harris said. “The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself. When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense. I’m not good at being a celebrity.”

The DJ added, “But when it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. I’m a positive guy.”

In happier times.

The “Twitter thing” Harris mentions is a reference to the rant in which he went off on Swift. In multiple rounds of 140 characters or less, the DJ confirmed Tay’s connection to “This Is What You Came For,” her longtime beef with Katy Perry, and that her team was trying to smear him.

“For both of us it was the wrong situation,” Harris said. “It clearly wasn’t right, so it ended, but all of the stuff that happened afterwards...”

Not one to shake it off, Harris appeared to reference his animosity toward Swift and her team during his acceptance speech at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Tuesday.

“I’d like to dedicate this to my manager, Mark Gillespie, for being a fantastic man,” Harris said, while accepting the Patron Solo Artist of the Year Award. “We started out at the same time. We’ve been through a lot and discovered a lot this year ― whether it be touring or dealing with the endless amount of bulls**t written about people in 2016.”
