Wake up, Geoff.

At best, jet lag can be seen as a first world problem. But at worst, it really can take it's toll on your body and mind -- especially if you need to hit the ground running at your destination.

On top of that, us Aussies cop it worse when we come home as jet lag is amplified when you fly East. That's because traveling West across time zones gives your body the extra time it naturally expects in a day, while flying East shortens the day and makes it harder to adjust.

Many people resort to sleeping tablets to help them adjust to the new time zone, though they're not for everyone. Luckily there's quite a few natural and effective moves you can make to set you straight again. From special glasses with green lenses to a bit of exercise, check out the below infographic before your next trip.
