Vera Wang, the world's most-loved bridal designer is not interested in subscribing to the traditional up or down-do.
This was made stunningly clear when she unveiled her Spring collection on Wednesday at Sydney's InterContinental Hotel in what was her first-ever Australian showcase.
Over high tea and champagne, the eight-piece collection titled Désir à l'Anglaise -- translating to Desire in English was shown -- but among the corsetry and modern silhouettes was the hair.
Braids of all different shapes and sizes made their debut replicating what Wang had previously dreamt up in her bridal film for the collection.
From crown braids, to side braids and teeny fishtails it was witchy meets Disney à la 2016.
Oh and the dresses (flown in from Wang's New York showroom) brought the drama -- think: plunging necklines and heavily beaded high-neck styles -- take a look for yourself below and revel in your inner Repunzel.
