Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn has taken home his first Emmy for his chilling portrayal of Danny Rayburn in the Netflix Original series, "Bloodline".

Mendelsohn was named Most Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, beating "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harrington and Michael Kelly of "House of Cards".

While the 47-year-old didn't attend the awards ceremony, "Empire" star Taraji P. Henson said after announcing the award she'll "have it at home" for him when he's back.

This was the second nomination for Mendelsohn, who was previously nominated last year. He also received a Golden Globe nomination for the same role.

Last week, Netflix announced a third season of "Bloodline" is in the works which stars Kyle Chandler ("Friday Night Lights"), Sissy Spacek ("Carrie") and Linda Cardellini ("Mad Men").
