Joshua Sasse and Kylie Minogue have vowed to tie the knot only when same-sex marriage laws are passed in Australia.

Kylie Minogue and her fiance, Joshua Sasse, want to get married in Melbourne. But they are going to wait until same-sex marriage is legal in Australia.

Joshua Sasse revealed in an interview on Sunrise that the pair do not think it is fair that they should wed before same-sex couples.

"I wanted to tell you today on her behalf and our behalf that until this law has passed in Australia, we will not be getting married," he said.

Sasse is spearheading the 'Say "I Do" Down Under' campaign, which has quickly gained some high-profile supporters.

Margot Robbie used her appearance on Saturday Night Live on the weekend to throw her weight behind the campaign. She wore a black shirt with the slogan 'Say "I Do" Down Under' with a rainbow map of Australia.

Other celebrity supporters include Dolly Parton, U.S. television host Kelly Ripa and Sia's team.

Minogue, 47, and Sasse, 28, announced their engagement in February this year with a notice in the marriage announcements section of the UK's The Daily Telegraph.
