Don't Carve Your Pumpkin This Year, Stuff It

Carving a pumpkin for the holiday is all well and good, except for one thing: it’s a waste of a perfectly good gourd. Many pumpkins, while festive sitting on your porch, are really meant to be eaten. So rather than carve your pumpkin this year, we have a recommendation: stuff it. (Of course, first be sure that the pumpkins at your pumpkin patch are suitable for eating.)

Stuffed pumpkins are just as festive as carved ones, AND you get to eat them. Win, win. There are many ways to stuff a pumpkin ― with savory things, sweet things and the comfiest of food things. For a little inspiration, here are some ideas to get you started on your stuffing adventure.
