Debris found in Mauritius has been confirmed as plane debris from missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
On Friday Malaysian authorities announced the piece of debris was part of the plane.
In a statement Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai said analysis by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau found the debris was consistent with the trailing edge of an aircraft wing.
Two pieces of plane debris were previously confirmed as being from the missing jet. The first was recovered from the French island of Reunion in July 2015, while the second was found on the island of Pemba, off the coast of Tanzania.
Malaysian flight MH370 disappeared in March 2014 with 239 passengers and crew on board.
The Boeing 777 disappeared on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, sparking a two-year search has turned up few leads.
