John Oliver has taken aim at Republican Party hypocrisy surrounding the outrage over Donald Trump's degrading comments about women.

The comedian took aim at Trump supporters voicing their criticism and displeasure over the New York businessman's recently uncovered comments about women, while some of those same supporters still endorse Trump for president.

He also took aim at Senator John McCain, who announced shortly after Trump's comments were made public that he would no longer support the nominee. McCain said Trump alone should bear the burden for his conduct, and he alone should suffer the consequences.

Except no, he alone does not bear the burden of his conduct because he alone did not make himself your party's nomineeJohn Oliver

"All of you have consistently supported him through some absolutely heinous s**t," Oliver said.

"In his very first campaign speech, he called Mexicans 'rapists,' and that was just the beginning."

Oliver listed some of Trump's statements, new and old: a temporary ban on Muslim immigration, killing the families of terrorists, waterboarding of terror suspects, and maintaining the Central Park Five are guilty despite DNA evidence exonerating them.

"And all of you still thought that he should be president," Oliver said.

"So the only way you get to be shocked and outraged now is if you were cryogenically frozen until Friday afternoon and that Access Hollywood tape was the first thing you saw upon being reanimated. Anything less than that, and this is on you too."

Billy Bush -- the television host heard on the leaked 2005 video laughing along with Trump's comments about grabbing women "by the pussy" -- did not escape Oliver either.

The first female presidential nominee versus the human embodiment of every backwards, condescending, Mad Men-esque, boys' club attitude that has ever existed, rolled into one, giant, salivating, pussy grabbing, warthog in a red power tie.John Oliver

In an earlier part of the segment, Oliver Bush Trump's "hug pimp" after he was seen in the video asking Arianne Zucker to hug Trump shortly after now infamous conversation.

"And incidentally, f**k Billy Bush. F**k that guy. F**k him. F**k him," Oliver said.

Oliver is, to say the least, philosophical about the 2016 election's place in history.

"Perhaps we have always been heading to this historic moment," Oliver said.

"The first female presidential nominee versus the human embodiment of every backwards, condescending, Mad Men-esque, boys' club attitude that has ever existed, rolled into one, giant, salivating, pussy grabbing, warthog in a red power tie."
