Khloe Kardashian opened up about last week’s robbery at sister Kim’s Paris apartment where Kim was held at gunpoint, saying that her sister still hasn’t recovered from the incident.

“I mean, she’s not doing that well,” the reality star said on Tuesday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. And it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”

Since the incident, the Kardashians have been notably quieter on social media. (They had a similar reaction after Khloe’s estranged husband Lamar Odom collapsed in a brothel last October.) When DeGeneres asked about the unusual silence, Khloe attributed it to the robbery and noted the incident had made her family rethink safety issues.

“Well, I think it’s just a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments,” she said. “This is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that’s really personal as to when that emotional terror ― you could move on from that. I think, for us, it’s all a wake-up call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister is OK.”

Kim has yet to comment on the robbery, which occurred during the early morning hours of Oct. 3 in Paris. A spokesperson stated that two “armed, masked men” posing as policemen broke into the 35-year-old’s apartment, where they bound and gagged her before making off with $10 million in jewelry and a few personal items.
