Four teenagers have been stabbed at a Melbourne McDonald's in what police described as an "organised brawl" on Sunday evening.

The boys, all aged 17 years, were part of a large group of young people who gathered outside the McDonald's in St Albans, Melbourne, when fighting broke out at around 6:15pm, police said.

"Police have spoken to a number of witnesses at the scene and are investigating the incident," a police spokesperson told The Age.

Two of the boys were taken to hospital with serious injuries, while two more were treated for more minor injuries.

Police have interviewed people at the scene and are investigating the incident.
