Amy Schumer poked fun at Florida fans who walked out of her performance earlier this week after the comedian lashed out at Donald Trump onstage.

“I’ve written an open letter to Tampa and I’d like to read it tonight,” Schumer said during an NYC show at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, via People. “Dearest Tampa, I’m sorry you didn’t want me, a comedian who talks about what she believes in, to mention the biggest thing going on in our country right now.”

“How could I think it was OK to spend five minutes having a peaceful conversation with someone with different views?” the “Trainwreck” actress said, referencing the moment she brought a Trump supporter up on the stage Sunday in Tampa to interview him about his political preferences.

Schumer added, “And, Tampa, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have said that he was an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster. Shouldn’t have said that. I will never again say that he is an orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster!”

The 35-year-old angered fans during her show on Sunday after some accused her of making her comedy too political. According to a review from the Tampa Bay Times, around 200 people walked out of her show and many began booing after she slammed Donald Trump and brought up his many sexual assault allegations.

Schumer, who has openly thrown her support behind Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, didn’t seem to mind the controversy and simply tweeted “All love Tampa,” after news of the walkouts went viral Monday.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
