Paris Hilton is headed down under for a DJ tour, with the reality TV star, singer, actress and Hilton hotel heiress set to play Brisbane venue Fluffy.

According to the promoter, Hilton's Gold Rush Tour will kick off at the Brisbane venue on November 20 and it's one of 3 Aussie gigs she's play on her visit.

Moshtix had only one word to describe the news: "massive".

"Fluffy is gearing up to play host to one of the world-renowned icons of our time as part of her international Gold Rush Tour. Straight from Beverly Hills & the top clubs in Ibiza, you don't want to miss Paris Hilton's headlining DJ set as she takes over the Fluffy basement to party all night long!" Moshtix said on its website.

It went on going to spruik Hilton's many talents, listing her as a "celebrity entrepreneur. Socialite. Businesswoman. Model. Actress. Singer. DJ. Author".

The Brisbane booking is part of Hilton's worldwide "Gold Rush" tour, which happens to be the same name as a new perfume she's flogging.

Hilton, to her credit, has carved out an high-profile DJ career over the past decade, especially in Spanish party mecca Ibiza, and has repeatedly defended her bona fides to anyone who'll listen.

"There are so many rumors out there. People who think that I don't play live. There are so many haters that make up so many stories. But anybody who comes and sees a show and watches behind the booth will see I know exactly what I'm doing," Hilton told Billboard in 2015.

"I've been training so hard for the past five years. I think I've really improved myself."
