WAS IT WORTH IT?

Give us a break.

A Kansas State University student claims that he had a Kit Kat candy bar stolen from his car by a hungry thief with a sweet tooth.

Hunter Jobbins tweeted a photo of the note purportedly left by the candy burglar. The note says the suspect only the treat, and nothing else.

“Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit-Kat. I am sorry and hungry,” the suspect wrote on a napkin.

Here’s the note:

Seems like a pretty big bummer for Jobbins, who claimed that he left his car for “maybe 15 minutes.” On the other hand, you just don’t leave your candy exposed like that, especially this time of year.

Luckily, the people at Kit Kat gave him a break.
