The ocean is a vast, sometimes scary, but incredibly beautiful part of Australian culture and this video taken off the coast of Avoca Beach shows it at its most alive.
The video posted to the Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club's Facebook page is a captivating look into life under the sea, showing how different species interact with the ocean.
Brett Beswick, who posted the video, said there were six sharks, a seal and a large ray feeding on a huge school of salmon on Tuesday morning.
"Few young kids out surfing were only 30m from the action and advised to leave the water, which they did," he said on the video post.
The video has now been shared over 3,000 times with one user reminding us the indisputable truth that "it's great to see our ocean thriving".
We certainly agree.
