A Kangaroo Hopped Into A Family's Caravan Then Came Back With His Mates

The locals are friendly in 'Straya.

A curious kangaroo surprised a family of five when it hopped inside their caravan. The Lorrimer family was camping near Jervis Bay in NSW when the marsupial sneaked inside.

Justin and Bec Lorrimer's three small children giggled with delight at the visitor. Meanwhile, mum and dad tried to get him safely out but the roo just didn't want to budge. Eventually, they lured the kangaroo out with a bit of apple.

But the peace offering worked a little too well. The word got out in the 'roo community and the next day the campers were surrounded by kangaroos lining up for a free feed.

The family set off for a road trip around Australia 10 months ago and have blogged about their travels. They've had some unique experiences driving from Newcastle to Cooktown, through Darwin and the Kimberly before heading down the Western Australia Coast and across the Nullabor Plain.

But this cute encounter will be hard to beat.
