Vanilla Ice is one of the 90s artists who'll tour Australia next year.

Brace yourself for parachute pants, frosted tips and Keppers. Some of the biggest names in music from the 1990s are headed Down Under as part of the 'I Love The 90s' tour slated to hit Aussie shores in 2017.

Among the throwback artists taking part in the rap, hip hop and R&B tour are Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa, Color Me Badd, Tone Loc, Coolio and Young MC, according to MJR promotions.

The tour, scheduled for dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth in June next year is being billed as "one big party" and also includes stops in New Zealand. It's the first time the event has been taken to Australia after playing arenas across the U.S.

From the promoter's site, it looks like the event is going to be drenched in nostalgia.

"What do the hits 'Push It', 'Gangsta's Paradise', 'Ice Ice Baby', 'Funky Cold Medina', 'Bust a Move' and 'I Wanna Sex U Up' have in common?," it states.

"They are some of the most iconic songs of the 90s and this coming June, MJR gives you the artists behind the hits, together for one big party."
