You'd be hard pressed to find a woman who doesn't love flowers. They're an easy way to brighten a room and although temporary, there are moves you can put in place to extend the life of your bunch.

First thing first -- putting a Panadol in the vases's water doesn't do much. It's thought the salicylic acid in the tablet lowers the pH level of the water, but no studies have concluded its effectiveness.
