Now is the time of year you'll see friends updating their Facebook status asking for good books to read over the holidays. The summer break is also a great time to catch up on TV series or podcasts you've been meaning to get to all year, or movies you just did get around to watching.

While asking your network for recommendations is always handy, sometimes its safer to go with the masses -- if a book, show or movie hugely popular its usually for good reason.

This week Apple have released their 'Best of 2016' lists, which is collated from data that covers the most viewed, played and sold in 2016.

Consider the below list the best of the best, if your stuck on what to enjoy this summer.
