YouTube has celebrated the big trends of 2016 in its annual Rewind video.

2016 has been a big year. It's been full of memorable moments and mindblowing trends, making it an even bigger year in the world of the web.

But don't worry about remembering absolutely everything that was created, watched and shared online over the last 12 months.

YouTube has you covered.

The 6th annual YouTube Rewind video has dropped and has everything from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to Pokemon GO and Kanye's 'Famous' bed photo.

Mixed to a funky Major Lazer version of Justin Bieber's hit song 'Sorry', the video takes a look back at the trending hits and misses of 2016 and features some of your favourite YouTube celebrity personalities with PewDiePie, Connor Franta and Lilly Singh among some of the faces to grace the screen with their 'unique' dance moves.

And if those names don't ring a bell, The Late Late Show's James Corden and The Daily Show's Trevor Noah also make appearances to keep you entertained with Car Pool Karaoke and some twerking to match.

Among some of the trends featured are the Running Man dance, the 'Damn Daniel' phenomenon, the bottle flip craze, Game Of Throne's Hodor and the 'Dab' -- all culminating in a huge pillow fight featuring a panda and a lot of fireworks.

If 2016 was this big, one can only imagine the shocks and surprises 2017 has in store.
