That Viral Kangaroo Punch Is Now A Trendy Mural In Melbourne

You've seen this artist's work before.

The viral video of a man punching the kangaroo that had his pet pooch captured in a chokehold, has now been immortalised in a mural on a popular Melbourne street.

The painting of the incident that saw Greig Tonkins become an overnight internet sensation has popped up along Melbourne's Punt Road.

"Yo cool someone in Melbourne made graffiti of the guy who got into a punch on with a kangaroo, god bless Australia," one Twitter user wrote.

In case you missed it, the video of Tonkins rescuing his dog from the kangaroo before punching it in the face, attracted a whole lot of media attention.

The kangaroo hops away following the punch.

The video attracted some controversy, with animal rights activists calling for Tonkins to be sacked after it was revealed he worked for Taronga Western Plains Zoo. His employers chose to stand by him.

Lushsux, the person who painted the mural, is also no stranger to a headline.

The graffiti artist's controversial paintings of Hillary Clinton, Pauline Hanson, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, have all raised a few eyebrows.

Take a look for yourself.
