Ja Rule, Ashanti and Eve are coming down under in a lineup that will have your noughties self dancing all the way into 2017.

It's been confirmed that the acts will hit our shores in January next year as part of the Urban Sounds tour coming to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, kicking off in early January.

Remember Chingy? Right Thurr? He will be joining the gang in Sydney and Brisbane on the 11th and 13th of January but sadly the other states will miss out on him.

Ja Rule and Ashanti will also play Promiseland in Melbourne for New Years Eve, so you can ring in the new year old school style.

The pair will play solo in Darwin as part of Urban Sounds, making sure no one will be left out from this noughties magic.

'The Always On Time' duo caused a bit of a stir earlier this year when they turned up late to their Geelong concert. They played a whopping four hours after the doors opened.

They were also said to have been late on stage at Sydney's Max Watts where they apparently only performed for half an hour, themusic.com.au reports.

This isn't the first generational group of artists to announce an Australian tour, Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa and Coolio will also be headed here in 2017 as part of the I Love The 90s Tour.

In preparation, why not take a trip down memory lane and indulge in a little bit of Ja Rule and Ashanti to get you in the mood for January?
