Tunisian hackers have taken over Victoria Treasurer Tim Pallas's website to protest the war in Syria.
Visitors to Pallas' site, timpallas.com.au, are taken to a black page with pictures of wounded civilians under a banner saying "Stop killing people in Syria," and that the site was hacked by "Viirus linux and Tn GhosT."
The site was restored on Tuesday morning.
"The website was hacked this morning and has now been fixed, work is underway to improve security of MPs websites," a spokesman for the Victorian government said in response to queries from the Huffington Post Australia.
