Woman Dead, Seven People Injured In Horrific Highway Bus Crash

The minibus and a truck collided on the Princes Highway.

A woman has died, and seven people are injured, after a minibus and truck collided on the Princes Highway on Sydney's south coast on Wednesday.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene in Yallah -- near the Dapto exit of the M1 Motorway -- on Wednesday afternoon. NSW Police confirmed the minibus and truck were both travelling north, but crashed, which caused the minibus to roll onto its side.

Injured passengers were treated by emergency services on the scene, however one woman died before being transported to hospital.

"They're all in shock," Superintendent Zoran Dzevlan of Lake Illawarra command told The Illawarra Mercury following the crash.

Two people are in a critical condition and one person is in a serious condition. Nine people have been treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

The crash has caused delays and diversions for traffic on the Princes Highway, with the highway at Yallah closed northbound.
