Get out your magnifying glasses and detective goggles, kids, because we think Mariah Carey is trying to tell us something.

The elusive chanteuse released the music video for her new breakup anthem, “I Don’t,” featuring rapper YG on Friday — and it’s about as subtle as Carey’s distaste for fluorescent overhead lighting.

The opening moments of the music video show the R&B diva bolting from a mansion wearing a wedding dress as paparazzi cameras flash. Then it’s one skintight lingerie number after the next, as Carey writhes around in the backseat of a Rolls Royce.

“Cause when you love someone / You just don’t treat them bad / You messed up all we had,” she sings.

Naturally, the video ends with Mariah setting fire to a wedding dress, making it abundantly clear that the single is likely in reference to her relationship with her former fiancé, Australian billionaire James Packer.

(Side note: Mariah, don’t think your real fans forgot you pulled the same runaway bride gig in the “We Belong Together” music video. It’s time for some new material.)

The couple split in October following a blow-out fight on a yacht while vacationing in Greece after dating for two years, which might be the most Mariah Carey sentence ever written. Don’t feel too bad, because the singer is currently rumored to be dating her back-up dancer Bryan Tanaka.

Live it, love it and cringe while watching it below.
