In the early hours on Thursday, Katy Perry announced a 'PLOT TWIST' directing fans to a shiny disco ball where they can plug in their heaphones and listen to her latest track 'Chained To The Rhythm.'

But where can you find such a thing?! In a few strategic tweets, the newly blonde Perry teased the fresh track before releasing a map to her 90 million-plus followers showing the locations of a few dozen disco balls scattered across the globe.

For her Australian fans, a shiny orb can be found opposite the Ugg store in Sydney's Circular Quay. You know, just in case you felt like bopping out in your slippers.

You'll need to get down there by 6pm, before the glittery ball is unchained and sent back to Katy Perry HQ.

Other locations include Paris's Moulin Rouge, London's Leicester Square and Japan's Shibuya.

The hype comes only a few days after the star was announced to perform at the Grammys and judging by Twitter, fans have been sent into a frenzy with some travelling hours for a listen.

You heard the KatyCats, #KATYISCOMING.
