Sweden's embassy in the United States has gently trolled President Donald Trump after he apparently cited a non-existent incident in the European country during one of his political rallies.
Trump on Sunday told supporters in Melbourne, Florida: "You look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They're having problems like they never thought possible."
The next day, and after confusion about the non-existent incident in Sweden, the president clarified to say he was talking about large numbers of immigrants.
In diplomatic terms, it was a mic drop.
