Australian hip hop trio Bliss N Eso will play a special tribute show following the tragic death of Johann Ofner on the set of their 'Friend Like You' music video clip last month.

The 28-year-old stuntman was fatally injured when a prop gun was discharged during filming. The gun was loaded with blanks, not live ammunition.

On Tuesday morning, the band announced the charity concert will be held in Ofner's hometown region of the Gold Coast, at the Coolangatta Hotel on Friday March 3, with 100 percent of all proceeds to be donated to a trust for Ofner's daughter.

In a statement Bliss N Eso announced their decision to delay the release of their forthcoming album Off The Grid to Friday April 28, 2017. The album was scheduled for release in early March.

"The past few weeks have been some of the toughest times we've ever been through both individually and as a band. It has been a constant rollercoaster of emotions and we really appreciate all the ongoing support from our friends, family and loyal fans. We continue to offer our support to the family and friends of Johann Ofner who tragically passed away on the set of our music video. We are thankful for his family's blessing in allowing us to put on this tribute concert, to celebrate the life of this amazing man and loving father."– Bliss n Eso

Following Ofner's death the group also released a statement which said the members were "devastated" by the incident.

Tickets are on sale now from Oztix for $59 and a t-shirt exclusively designed for the fundraiser will be available, with all proceeds going to the trust.
