Twitter has came to the weird realisation that John Legend bares an uncanny resemblance to Arthur the aardvark. Now, his wife's responded to the comparison.
A tweet pointing out the hilarious similarity was posted on Monday with the caption "John Legend look like Arthur lowkey". It went seriously viral in the Twittersphere.
Over 74,000 retweets and 220,000 likes later, the doppelganger theory was well and truly cemented in people's minds. It's even to managed to reach Legend himself.

His wife Chrissy Teigen responded hilariously to the tweet with a picture of Arthur's clenched cartoon fist with the caption "John when you tell him he looks like Arthur".

Legend has replied to her tweet explaining that he doesn't know what her or anyone else is going on about. He doesn't even know who Arthur is, which is a scandal in itself.

Arthur is a kids' cartoon show that came out in 1996 that chronicles a group of friends and family growing up together. It's actually pretty awesome.
