One Nation has removed two of its West Australian election candidates just weeks out from state polling day.

Pauline Hanson's party scrapped North West Central candidate Dane Sorensen and Thornlie candidate Sandy Baraiolo for critiquing the party's preference swap deal with the Liberal Party, AAP reports.

One Nation's WA leader Colin Tincknell said the pair had not met party standards.

"We unfortunately had to disendorse both of these candidates as they did not meet the standards that are required to be a Pauline Hanson One Nation candidate," he is quoted as saying.

"We wish them all the best as independents."

He told the ABC the right-wing party had "no choice" but to cast out their former candidates.

"Both those candidates didn't reach the standards that we need, so we had no choice but to disendorse them," he said.

"I think both of them would've liked to have continued, but like I said we have a set of standards that all the other 50 candidates were fitting into.

"Unfortunately these two weren't able to do that so Pauline Hanson made the decision to disendorse them."

The decision to dump the pair is the latest instance of One Nation scrapping candidates for state elections.

In January, One Nation canned its candidate for Mulgrave in Queensland's far north, Peter Rogers, following a conspiracy-type article published on a website about the Port Arthur massacre.

According to Fairfax Media, the reason for the axing was an article which contained strange allegations about the Port Arthur massacre and a refugee Syrian toddler found dead on a Turkish beach.
