From The Breakfast Club to Star Wars, Twitter users are reimagining the plot twists in their favourite films and it's so good as to be popcorn-worthy.

People are posting alternative plot lines for classic movies that range from E.T. not paying his phone bill to the cast of Fame getting arthritis from all that dancing.

"The Oompa Loompas were orange because of poisoning from artificial dyes in Wonka candies!" one person wrote.

One user suggested that Bender from The Breakfast Club was actually an undercover cop. Maybe that's a potential remake idea?

Another imagined that Maury Povich reveals to an angry Darth Vader that he is actually NOT Luke's father. Now that's something we would pay to see.
