Love may not cost a thing but a perfectly timed wedding proposal doesn’t hurt things either.

Jennifer Lopez closed her Monday night “All I Have” Las Vegas concert with a very special moment for everyone on stage and in the audience. Lake Smits wanted to pop the question to girlfriend and fellow backup dancer, Tera Perez ― and J-Lo was on hand to help him pull off the perfect moment.

Before she ended the concert, the singer stood to the side as Smits got down on one knee to propose to Perez. The star was so excited, she ran to hug the couple before the moment even ended.

Perez has been dancing with Lopez for eight years, while Smits has danced with the star for three years. J-Lo told Entertainment Weekly that Smits had called her to ask if he could propose on stage, which she loved. “It was a great moment,” she said.

It was a busy week for Lopez, who beat late-night host Jimmy Fallon in a hilarious dance battle on Wednesday.
