Apparently not everything was magical about “Harry Potter.”

While appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, Emma Watson’s days as Hermione Granger came back to haunt her. During the interview, the “Beauty and the Beast” star was confronted with old footage of her with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, and she appeared to be mouthing her co-stars’ lines.

“You laugh. This is actually quite traumatic for me because I created issues because of this,” said Watson. “I would ruin takes,” she added.

The actress explained that she couldn’t help herself.

“I was such a loser. I really loved those books. I really wanted to do my job well, and I kind of overdid it,” she said.

Watson has nothing to be embarrassed about. No one else could’ve played the role, according to “Harry Potter” casting director Janet Hirshenson.

Last year, The Huffington Post talked with Hirshenson, who said everyone was blown away when they saw Watson on camera.

“One of the producers said, ‘Can I have her under contract until she’s 21?’ All of us were just, ‘Oh, my God. A star is born.’” said Hirshenson.

In the end, Hermione clearly sorted out her priorities.
