Cricket Australia boss James Sutherland has labelled Indian Captain Virat Kohli "outrageous" on Wednesday for questioning the integrity of Aussie skipper Steve Smith amid a DRS scandal from the second Test in Bengaluru.
The criticism comes in a statement after Kohli took to a post-match press conference to suggest Smith had cheated in an incident that saw him seemingly turn to his dressing room to seek advice on whether to review an LBW decision -- which you aren't allowed to do.

As Smith waits on the results of the findings of ICC match referee Chris Broad, Sutherland stood by the skipper and slammed Kohli's attempts at tarnishing his reputation as a cricketer.
"I find the allegations questioning the integrity of Steve Smith, the Australian team and the dressing room outrageous," Sutherland said while in India.
"Steve is an outstanding cricketer and person, and role model to many aspiring cricketers and we have every faith that there was no ill-intent in his actions.
"We reject any commentary that suggests our integrity was brought into disrepute or that systemic unfair tactics are used, and stand by Steve and the Australian cricketers who are proudly representing our country."
The Board of Control for Cricket in India responded to Sutherland's criticism on Wednesday night (AEST), issuing a statement saying it "steadfastly stands with the Indian cricket team and its captain Mr Virat Kohli".
"Mr Virat Kohli is a mature and seasoned cricketer and his conduct on the field has been exemplary," the statement read.
"Mr Kohli's action was supported by ICC Elite Panel Umpire Mr Nigel Llong who rushed in to dissuade Mr Steve Smith from taking recourse to inappropriate assistance.
"BCCI has requested the ICC to take cognizance of the fact that the Australian skipper Mr Steve Smith in his press conference admitted to a 'brain fade' at that moment."
The resentment shown between representatives of the two countries has become standard procedure in the Australia-India series nowadays, although Australian coach Darren Lehmann was quick to brush off Kohli's claims.
Lehmann and the Australian camp have said they were surprised when Smith looked towards the dressing room but refute claims he cheated, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
"Very surprised to hear that, but it's their opinion... He has his opinion and we have ours, but at the end of the day we play the game the right [way]."
The ongoing controversy surrounding the contested glance towards the dressing room has overshadowed India's victory by 75 runs on Tuesday night (AEST), after bowler Ravi Ashwin unleashed a bowling masterclass onto the Australian batting order.
