Victoria Police have safely located a Melbourne mother and her two young children who had been missing since Monday.

Thirty-year-old Rupinder Bassi went missing with her two children, one-year-old Imaan and nine-year-old Jasmine, at around 3pm from Devenport Ave, Taylors Hill in Melbourne's west, police said in a statement released on Thursday.

A Victoria Police spokesperson told The Huffington Post Australia on Friday all three individuals had been located and there were no suspicious circumstances.

On Thursday, authorities said her family was worried for her welfare and that of the children, saying her disappearance was out of character.
