Bliss N Eso Release Tribute Video For Actor Killed On Set

Johann Ofner, 28, died after being shot on the set of a film clip for the popular group.

Australian hip-hop group Bliss N Eso have released a video paying homage to Johann 'Yohi' Ofner following their tribute show on the Gold Coast earlier this month.

Ofner, 28, was fatally injured in January after being shot with a prop gun while on the set of a music video for the popular group.

Fairfax media has reported that it was suspected that a piece, or pieces, of debris exited the barrel of the unloaded gun, which fatally injured the popular stuntman.

Proceeds from the gig, which was on March 3, raised over $40,000 for Ofner's daughter, according to a post made on the group's Facebook page.

"It was incredibly special to share the night with Johann's friends and family," the post read.

"It will have an important place in our heats and minds forever."

The tragic death of Ofner occurred during the filming of a clip for the group's song 'Friends Like You', which was being carried out inside a Brisbane nightclub.

In a personal statement at the time of the accident, Bliss N Eso said that they were "devastated" by the incident.

"We continue to express our support and condolences to the family and friends of those so deeply affected by this sad event and appreciate your on-going understanding in this incredibly difficult time," the members said in a joint statement.

"The three of us are extremely upset and shaken up by this and our hearts and prayers go out to the victim's family and friends as well as the cast and crew who were involved in the clip today."
