The genius creators are back.

Two years ago, the 'This American Life' spin off 'Serial' dropped and blew the socks off podcast listeners (slash everyone) everywhere.

Now the team behind it is back with 'S-Town', one of three new series, and they've given us a sneak peak. Prepare yourselves.

'S-Town' tells the story of a murder mystery unfolding in small town Alabama. A man named John despises his home town and decides to do something about it.

S-Town is totally different from anything I've heard before.

Here's how it began, according to a statement from the team.

Production of "S-Town" began when a man reached out to "This American Life" bitterly complaining about his small Alabama town. He wanted a reporter to investigate the son of a wealthy family who had allegedly been bragging that he got away with murder. Brian agreed to look into it. But then someone else ended up dead, and another story began to unfold—about a nasty feud, a hunt for hidden treasure and the mysteries of one man's life.

'S-Town' is a seven-part story and, unlike Serial, all episodes will be released at once. Pencil in March 28.

"This story takes so many unexpected turns. Every episode is a new surprise. And the story has this feeling and mood that's different from anything else we've done," 'This American Life' creator Ira Glass said.

"I don't think people have heard of a show like this."

Here's that sneak peak we were talking about.
