'Master of None' Season 2 Has A Release Date And Mini Trailer

Mark your calendar for May 12.

'Master of None' is coming back to our screens on May 12 and the timing couldn't be more perfect.

That's around the time we'll be putting away our shorts and taking up residence on the couch to brace for our (not very cold) winter while streaming all of the shows. It's fate.

The first season introduced us to 30-year-old actor Dev, played by co-creator Aziz Ansari, as he navigates his professional life and tries to find a relationship.

The show scooped up an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2016 while Ansari was nominated for the Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series -- Comedy or Musical.

We haven't seen new episodes since 2015, but the gap was deliberate. The writers reportedly needed a break from the show because of the personal nature of the writing.

In the second season, Dev and Arnold return to New York after their trip overseas. In the short teaser trailer above, the pair are riding on scooters through lush countryside, possibly in Italy. Life is good.
