You may have been a fresh-faced 16-year-old going for your L's the last time you read up the rules regarding T intersections, and while you probably passed the test with flying colours, would you know who has the right of way in this situation?
We'll play some thinking music while you figure it out.

Time's up: It's C.
If you thought it was A (don't be embarrassed, there's plenty of you out there), you're wrong. Even though there's no 'Give Way' sign for A to abide by, the road it's travelling on is classed as a 'terminating road', while C is on a 'continuing road'.
While the rule may seem stupid, it gets even weirder -- in New South Wales, South Australia or the Northern Territory, if you're Car A (in the above scenario), you also have to indicate...even though you're going straight because *technically* you're not.
New South Wales and the Northern Territory
South Australia
Victoria
Tasmania
So there you go.
Despite the original image being tweeted by a paramedic in the UK, it would seem that the rule is the same in Australia.
While we're not sure how many of these intersections are lurking about out there, at least the next time you come across one you'll know just how to handle it.
