Hey Brisbane, Messina Is Opening Their First Store This Wednesday

It's finally happening.

After a long wait, Brisbanites will finally say hello to Gelato Messina's first Brisbane store on Wednesday 29th March at 5pm.

Located at 109 Melbourne Street in South Brisbane, the newest Messina gelateria is the biggest store to date at 200 square metres, surpassing Fitzroy's store which is a massive 150 square metres.

The Brissy store will sell the full range of flavours (40 flavour cabinet including five rotating weekly specials), as well as the full range of gelato cakes.

The lucky folks in Brisbane are even getting their own special flavour, aptly called QUEENSLANDAARRR!!! -- a ginger gelato with pineapple cake and Bundberg rum caramel.

Don't worry, though, the flavour will be available in all Messina stores for one week to celebrate the opening from Tuesday 28th March.

And if you've always wondered how to make the best gelato, there will be a full classroom dedicated to teaching gelato classes in Brisbane.
