New Zealander KJ Apa has risen to fame in the starring role of Archie Andrews on the hit CW show "Riverdale", but recently raised eyebrows with a curious Twitter rant obsessing over... Marmite, of all things.

It wasn't long until the true culprit started to reveal himself, with a few tweets being sent from KJ's account praising his co-star, Cole Sprouse.

Sprouse plays Jughead Jones, troubled best friend of Archie with a past full of secrets (because a prerequisite of living in Riverdale is having so many secrets). The cast has been well documented as being the ultimate of squad goals, so it comes as no surprise that a certain crown-wearing jokester would pull such a brilliant prank on his co-star.

Finally Cole revealed his true identity, along with proof that even celebrities probably shouldn't use the front-facing camera.

Luckily it looks like KJ managed to get control of his account back, and had a good sense of humour about the whole thing.

"Riverdale" returns from hiatus this week, and is best enjoyed with a big spoonful of Marmite.
