This Mar-mite be a troll.

New Zealander KJ Apa has risen to fame in the starring role of Archie Andrews on the hit CW show "Riverdale", but recently raised eyebrows with a curious Twitter rant obsessing over... Marmite, of all things.

Hard to play guitar when my hands are covered in marmite ay? #riverdale

It wasn't long until the true culprit started to reveal himself, with a few tweets being sent from KJ's account praising his co-star, Cole Sprouse.

So glad for jughead and Betty hahahah hehehhehhhh hehh #Riverdale

Sprouse plays Jughead Jones, troubled best friend of Archie with a past full of secrets (because a prerequisite of living in Riverdale is having so many secrets). The cast has been well documented as being the ultimate of squad goals, so it comes as no surprise that a certain crown-wearing jokester would pull such a brilliant prank on his co-star.
