Pete Murray Researched Em Rusciano Before The Two Performed Stunning Live Duet

This really is 'So Beautiful'.
2DayFM

On Tuesday's 'Em Rusciano Radio Show with Harley Breen', Pete Murray stopped by to chat about what he has been up to, and his upcoming sixth studio album.

Murray's last album 'Blue Sky Blue' came out in 2011, and he has been working on his latest, 'Camacho' for the past six years. The Byron Bay singer-songwriter told Rusciano and Breen: "I needed time away to go and reinvent myself".

"Poor Pete," Rusciano lamented after they discussed his new album. "He's been told 'you're going to sing with the radio announcer' and you weren't sure about that."

The singer admitted alarm bells had gone off, but he eased his mind with a bit of research.

"I checked you out," Murray said to Rusciano, "and I was very impressed. You've got a great voice, and we did a little warm-up before and I was super impressed."

The comment didn't go unnoticed by a very flustered Rusciano who wanted to relive the moment as much as possible. "Can I make that my ringtone? Can I have it? Can it be a ringtone now? Quickly make it, I'll wait." Rusciano then went on to prove just how impressive her vocals are with a stunning duet of Murray's 2004 smash-hit 'So Beautiful'.

Murry's next album 'Camacho' will be available June 2 followed by a three-month tour across the country which kicks off mid-July.
