Keira Knightley Is Back On Deck In The Latest 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Trailer

Plus zombie ghost sharks!

With only months until the release of "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales", a Japanese trailer has launched which gives us a bit more of a glimpse at the story, as well as a few familiar faces returning.

The fifth film in the series sees the return of the swashbuckling, rum-swigging Captain Jack Sparrow, played by none other than Johnny Depp, but fans are even more excited that this new footage gives us a brief glimpse of Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom's return to the franchise.

So, the Japanese trailer doesn't really explain much of the plot, but the official synopsis tells us that Captain Jack is down on his luck (again). Zombie ghost pirates (again) are being led by his old nemesis (another one) who wants revenge on Sparrow (again). Jack's only chance of survival is hunting down the Trident of Poseidon, which gives the legendary power to control the seas to whomever possesses it.

Also, zombie ghost sharks:

"Dead Men Tell No Tales" also stars Javier Bardem as the evil Captain Salazar, Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth, Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa and Brenton Thwaites as a character known only as "Henry". Many fans have theorised that Thwaites' character is actually the son of Will Turner (Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Knightley), which would explain the two's return to the series.

Sir Paul McCartney is also listed as "Jail Guard 2" which just goes to show no matter how famous you are, you should never turn down a movie featuring zombie ghost sharks.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is scheduled to sail into cinemas May 26.
