Gisele Posts Anti-Trump Tweet On Day Of Patriots' White House Visit

One hundred and forty characters can say 1,000 words.

On the day of the New England Patriots’ White House visit to celebrate their Super Bowl win, Gisele decided to post a message that made her political stance quite clear.

In a since-deleted tweet, Gisele ― who is an avid environmentalist ― shared a link to the Peoples Climate Movement’s upcoming April 29 protest in Washington, D.C., against the Trump administration’s climate policies, the Washington Post and other outlets reported.

Gisele’s quarterback husband, Tom Brady, skipped the White House trip Wednesday due to “personal family matters.”

For months, there has been ongoing debate over Brady’s support for and friendship with Trump. The two have known each other for years, and the POTUS claimed to have the football star’s vote in the 2016 election.

“Tom Brady, great guy, great friend of mine, great, great champion, unbelievable winner,” Trump said at a November rally. “He called today and he said, ‘Donald, I support you, you’re my friend, and I voted for you.’”

However, when her Instagram followers asked about it, Gisele shot down the claims. And she also apparently told her beau to stop talking politics in public.

“I talked to my wife, and she said I can’t talk about politics anymore,” Brady said in November. “I think that’s a good decision, maybe for our family.”

This is not the first time Gisele has used social media to push against ongoing issues under the Trump administration. Back in February, she shared a message promoting diversity during the immigration debate.
