The most iconic cannibal has had a makeover in this trailer remix for "The Silence of the Lambs".
Taking the intense moments between Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling, some of the most tense of the film, and throwing a quirky soundtrack and a few smiling glances into the mix and you've got the most intense-looking rom-com of all time.
The new trailer reimagines Jodie Foster's Clarice as a young FBI ingénue who surprises herself by falling for her subject, Hannibal Lecter, played by Anthony Hopkins. But it looks like the star-crossed lovers face a difficulty when Clarice's working relationship with her boss Jack Crawford (played by Scott Glenn) becomes even closer.
As hilarious as the trailer remix is, the most surprising thing about the re-cut is that Anthony Hopkins will still terrify the pants off you. But maybe that's the point...
