Kenny G Surprised Delta Passengers With An Impromptu Concert

And it was all for a good cause, too.

Passengers on a recent Delta flight from Tampa to L.A. were given the performance of a lifetime as Kenny G whipped out his sax and pumped the plane full of smooth tunes for a good cause.

According to TMZ, when a flight attendant informed the plane that they were raising money for Relay for Life, an organisation that raises funds for the American Cancer Society, Kenny gave his fellow passengers a challenge. If they could reach the goal of raising $1,000, the sax maestro agreed to wander up and down the aisle playing. They managed to exceed that goal with ease.

"I'm not doing this to bring any awareness to myself," the musician can be heard saying in a video from the plane, "this is for a good cause, and thank you all for donating so much. But I have to brush my teeth first before I play my saxophone so give me another five minutes."

In a month of terrible news for airlines, it's nice to know you can count on Kenny G to bring some good back in the world.

I would have paid 15k for this https://t.co/FGG5nM5KD5
