Stabbing Suspect Who Fled With Woman And Pram Arrested For Murder

Police had searched for the suspect for two days.

A man has been arrested over a stabbing murder in Elizabeth following a two-day man hunt in South Australia.

The 26-year-old remains in police custody and is expected to be charged with the murder of a 25-year-old man outside Elizabeth Shopping Centre on Thursday night.

Alexander Watts died in hospital in the hours after the attack.

The suspect was seen in the company of a woman pushing a pram around 6.50pm on Thursday.

Police have seized a white Holden Commodore sedan that is believed to be connected to the suspect who is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrate Court on Monday.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
