Amy Schumer's Dad Cries When He Meets Idol Goldie Hawn

Amy Schumer’s father Gordon is such a big fan of Goldie Hawn that he keeps a photo of her over his bed at his assisted living place, the younger Schumer told ET in the segment above.

So when the elder Schumer, who has multiple sclerosis, got to meet Hawn in person, emotion overtook him.

Amy on Tuesday posted a clip of the moment her pop and “Snatched” costar Hawn got together.

The father was already tearing up before Hawn even arrived. But when the 71-year-old Oscar winner entered the room, the waterworks erupted.

“It was really beautiful to get to see them meet,” Schumer told “ET” in the segment above.

Schumer devotes part of her 2016 book The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo to her dad’s battle with MS, even writing about some embarrassing public moments with him.

Her father, who was diagnosed when the comic was 12, was able to see her perform in October when she headlined Madison Square Garden, prompting Schumer to write a public note of thanks to his doctors and caregivers.
