A dashboard camera captured the dramatic moment when a single-engine airplane clipped power lines and crashed onto a street in Washington state.

Footage showed how the Piper PA-32 Cherokee Six rained fuel onto cars as it plummeted towards the Mukilteo Speedway inMukilteo on Tuesday afternoon.

No one was injured in the crash; however, several vehicles were damaged.

We definitely felt the fireball as it went over the van,” Amanda Hayes, whose vehicle was scratched by the plunging plane, told King 5. “I’m just thankful to be here.”

Police said the unidentified Oregon-based pilot had just taken off from nearby Paine Field airport when the plane suddenly lost power.

After failing to restart the engine, the pilot managed to divert the aircraft to a quieter area to minimize any impact.

It looks like he did an incredible job,” resident Ron Cohen told Q13 Fox.

Traffic backed up for more than an hour as emergency crews dealt with the crash, which also knocked out power to 9,000 homes for around 40 minutes.
