Man Tasered In Violent Melbourne Siege

Police have stormed a house in Melbourne to end a siege after three people were reportedly stabbed.

The incident took place at a property in the city's southeast at Doveton early Saturday morning, Fairfax Media reports.

Channel 7 has reported that a man was tasered at the property then arrested by police.

The detained man is said to have stabbed the three victims then moved to another location with one of the wounded people, before trying to enter a house where two adults and up to six children were inside.

The wanted man managed to gain entry to the house, with heavily armed police surrounding, then storming, the property about 8am.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman told Fairfax two people had been rushed to The Alfred hospital.

News vision shows a man, who appears to be handcuffed, being stretchered into an ambulance.
